Saicaf’s story begins in 1932 in Bari, Southern Italy, with a small cafe, which serves a coffee that is so good that it soon becomes urgent to produce it for a larger market.
Saicaf, that is Società Anonima Industria Caffè (Coffee Industry Joint-Stock Company), begins distributing locally; a small production with a genuinely artisanal approach and a mindset oriented towards ever new challenges and the Future.
Saicaf’s journey continues, and Saicaf’s professionals travel to those countries where coffee is grown, to establish a direct relationship with the land: the first guarantee of final product’s quality.
No machine is good enough, if coffee isn’t good in the first place. And coffee can be good only if it’s grown in the right way and treated to perfection, with care and attention that arise from study and experience.
